The quizzes are summative assessments, like exams. That is, they contribute to your total mark and are based upon a restricted number of well-validated question items about specific lecture topics.

You will receive a total mark for each quiz, but you will not be able to review the questions or the marks you received for specific quiz questions. Doing that would mean that we couldn’t use those questions in future years because they would be available to every new student. Because there is a finite number of good quiz questions, we would soon run out of valid quiz questions and be unable to use quizzes as a way of assessment.

So, our suggestion is that you classify the quizzes as small exams (when you don’t get to see your answers either) and that you use your overall mark as an indication of how you went in those particular lecture topics.
