The Governance @ UNE program is designed to not only induct participants to UNE’s governance structure, but to provide a resource that links them to key contacts and information across the institution.

On completion, the participant will understand their governance responsibilities, what their role is, what actions they need to undertake, protocols they must adhere to, expected behaviours, how decisions are made, etc.

Modules will initially provide information on the Governance structure, governance bodies, their authorities, responsibilities and delegations before moving onto individual responsibilities in terms of official positions, compliance, regulation, privacy, reporting, record keeping, and so on.

The final modules will bring participants full circle, providing them with guidance to determine how they fit in and what the next steps for them are, plus means of connecting/engaging further and providing feedback.
