Specific learning objectives
Students should:
- List important differential diagnosis of a patient who has presented with a breast lump
- Identify the aetiology of breast cancer and the progress of the disease by taking a focused history
- Gauge current health status of patient by performing a focused but thorough examination
- Identify imaging modalities and further investigations to rule out differential diagnoses
- Objectively analyse the effects of overdiagnosis associated with screening.

Students should:
- Demonstrate the skills of a breast lump history
- Demonstrate the skills of a breast examination
- Demonstrate the skills of axillary lymph node examination.
