Students should:

  2. Demonstrate the basic principles of assessment and management of SIRS
  3. Be able to identify important complications of acute pancreatitis.

Skills mastered

Students should:

  1. Demonstrate the skills of examining an acutely unwell patient  
  2. Demonstrate effective communication with an acutely unwell patient
  3. Demonstrate effective communication with a surgical registrar in regard to a patient who is acutely unwell.
