Student Accessibility and Wellbeing Office (SAWO) provides advice, practical assistance and Study Access Plans (SAPs) to students facing a range of barriers to study. Our free and confidential service is available for students with a disability, learning difficulty, mental health condition or injury, as well as carers, survivors of domestic and family violence and students working in remote locations (including ADF and emergency services). SAWO also offers the UNE Elite Athlete Program (EAP) for eligible athletes, coaches and support staff.
IT Services can help you with all your technology-related questions, like setting up your student email, downloading and using (free of charge)
Microsoft Office 365, connecting to the wireless network and printers on campus, as well as online
security. IT Services also provides assistance with myLearn, Zoom, Echo360 and other technical issues, and information about UNE's Minimum Hardware Requirements. The Oorala Aboriginal Centre is a community at UNE for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. The team provides a wide range of information,
advice and services, including managing your study load, scholarships, student application processes and tutoring through the Targeted Tutorial Assistance (TTA). TTA offers individual and group tutoring sessions for on campus and online students.
Student Services provides assistance with admission, enrolment, graduation, recognition of prior study and other queries.
The Student Grievance Unit (SGU) is an independent investigative unit which provides assistance with the resolution of any student-related issues, concerns or complaints. Students may also submit feedback to SGU with the intention of improving the University’s service
and unit delivery, business practices and student experience.
