Front seat passenger BIBA following a head on MVA. Was alert when paramedics arrived on the scene. He became increasingly drowsy and unresponsive during extraction and transference to Armidale Rural Referral Hospital.

Paramedics noted the passenger window was cracked and there was blood on the left side of the patient’s face. He also had a nosebleed and was complaining of left-sided head and face pain.

The driver appeared uninjured but has been brought to hospital for evaluation and compulsory drug and alcohol screening.
