Patient and his friend were travelling approximately 105km/hr between Uralla and Armidale. The driver swerved to avoid a kangaroo and drove head on into a tree on the side of the road. The driver was uninjured and managed to call 000. The ambulance arrived within 15 minutes of the accident. The patient did not appear to lose consciousness at the time of the accident. He complained to the driver of a severe headache, and left-sided face pain. He did not report any areas of pain or concern. |
