Mrs Watson has noticed that her skin, eyes and urine has been turning yellow over the last week. She was a bit concerned so had booked in to see her GP next week. Over this week, she had symptoms suggestive of a biliary colic. This was initially managed with some Panadeine Forte she had at home. The pain continued to worsen and she has now been nauseous, vomiting and feels like she has a fever.

Mrs Watson had not yet seen her GP but presented to the Armidale Emergency Department for a review.

She has in the past had a similar pain once or twice, but this self-resolved.
