Completion requirements
University Assessment Policies & Procedures
Prior to Submitting Assessments
Before submitting assessments students are required to:
-
- have successfully completed the Academic Integrity Module (AIM);
- be aware of the University guidelines on Academic Integrity, and the University rules surrounding Academic Misconduct and Plagiarism.
- Further information on the rules surrounding Academic Misconduct and Plagiarism can be found within the Student Coursework Academic Misconduct and Plagiarism Rules.
- Comprehensive information regarding University policies can be found within the UNE Policy Library.
Submitting Written Assessments
All written assessment tasks must be submitted through the TurnItIn Originality Checking Service. Any exceptions to this requirement will be outlined within the assessment activity information, indicating an alternative submission process.
Marking and Feedback
Assessments will be marked, with any appropriate feedback provided, in line with the University Assessment Guidelines.
Appeals
Where a student wishes to appeal the mark for a unit assessment task, an appeal must be completed in accordance with the Academic Assessment Appeals Procedures.
