School Appropriate Social Media

Most of the Social Media websites are not appropriate for school use.  They contain adult content and exposure to unsafe environments. Even those which are safe may be too expensive for school resources or fund themselves through distracting advertising.  

If you decide to use social media in the classroom take extra care to ensure it is appropriate, or be prepared for severe consequences.

There are a few in this table which are suitable, free and reputable, being designed by teachers for the classroom.  Choose and use with caution.
