Welcome!!

The Placement Coordination Team at UNE Psychology Clinic welcomes you to our Supervisor Hub. This is an informative site for current and prospective supervisors of students enrolled in our post-graduate professional psychology programs.

UNE offers three nested post-graduate professional psychology programs:

• Master of Professional Psychology (MPP) - 5^th Year Program
• Master of Psychology (Clinical) (MPSYC) – Combined 5^th & 6^th Year Program
• Doctor of Philosophy (Clinical Psychology) (PhD(ClinPsych)) – Combined 5^th & 6^th Year Program with embedded research PhD.

Our students study full-time or part-time, and our programs are flexibly designed to enable students transfer between programs in order to upskill.  

Students on external placements must be supervised by endorsed Clinical Psychologists who are also Board-approved supervisors with the Psychology Board of Australia. The Placement Coordination Team review and approve all potential placements. The team are on hand to liaise with students and supervisors to ensure unit requirements can be met within a placement opportunity. We highly value our network of field supervisors and students greatly appreciate the efforts of supervisors in supporting their training and development.
