This list will get you thinking about limitations and ethics associated with genAI and assistive tool usage.
-
Please Note – This information concerning the use of Generative AI and assistive tools is required for all assessment tasks across the university. So if your unit does not have this information available – please contact your unit coordinator – and if you are not satisfied with the response please reach out to the School of Education Academic Integrity Office via academicintegrity@une.edu.au just with the Unit Name and Assessment Task and we will take a look, contact the Unit Coordinator and get the information up and published.

This is generic advice applicable to all your UNE studies.
-
If you’re unsure about the appropriate use of genAI, please contact your Unit Coordinator or UNE’s Academic Skills Office. Getting feedback and advice early can assist you in using genAI in appropriate ways and avoid unintentional errors in use – which could lead to an allegation of academic misconduct.
-
OK - your Unit Coordinator is allowing or requiring you to use genAI or another assistance tool.
