Students should:

1. List important differential diagnosis on a patient experiencing lower urinary tract symptoms
2. Discuss the differences in benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer in terms of location in prostate and features on DRE
3. Gauge current health status of patient by performing a focused but thorough examination.
