Debrief / teaching points

Questions which may facilitate discussion and debriefing:

1. What was your initial impression of the patient?
2. Why was the laryngoscopy planned?
3. What were the main concerns of the patient? How do you explain and reassure?
4. What are the important points mentioned on a referral letter from a GP to a consultant? (tumour size, location, Soft tissue involvement on the vicinity)
5. What key points were essential for the case presentation to consultant/registrar?
