Debrief/Teaching Points

Questions which may facilitate discussion and debriefing:

1. What was your initial impression of the patient?
2. Does the patient seem otherwise healthy?
3. What were the differential diagnoses?
4. What are appropriate investigations for diagnosis of epigastric pain?
5. What were the main concerns of the patient? How do you explain and reassure?
6. What key points were essential for the case presentation to consultant / registrar?
