Students should:

1. List important differential diagnosis on a patient experiencing hearing loss
2. List important differentials for central and peripheral causes of vertigo
3. Understand how to carry out and interpret a HiNTs exam
4. Gauge current health status of patient by performing a focused but thorough examination.
