ITD will be performing maintenance on University IT systems and services on Saturday, 8th April 2017. The full-day maintenance will commence from 6am and will complete by 6pm and as a result most services will experience periods of disruption.
Network upgrades have been scheduled for W37, W38, W39 (School of Law and UNE Business School) and E11 (Arts, Humanities and Social Science) between 6am and 6pm, during this time wired and wireless network access will not be available in those areas. The network will still be available during this maintenance window in the adjoining areas of W40, W42 and the E12 (Arts A1 lecture theatre) as well as elsewhere on campus to allow for Intensive schools to continue in those areas.
For staff and on-campus students:
For other areas not listed above staff should expect intermittent outages as systems are restarted following maintenance updates. Network connections as well as internet access will be unavailable in different locations across campus during the day.
For off-campus students:
- Moodle should be available during the maintenance period. However, we recommend that you download any materials (such as readings and lecture recording) you require over the weekend to your local system to make sure you have access.
- Student Email (Office365 emails @myune.edu.au) should be available throughout the day.
This event is one of ITD’s scheduled maintenance windows, during which essential work is carried out to enhance and improve University systems.
The schedule of maintenance windows for 2017 can be found on the ITD website.
Service Desk support will be available during the weekend - please contact servicedesk@une.edu.au or http://une.service-now.com if you are experiencing problems after the maintenance outage.
